Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I am suspicious that there is something wrong with this product. I ordered the identical product from Skinmedica at the same time and compared them both very carefully. The one from amazon had the same expiry date, (slightly different print- not sure if that is significant), but it was also much browner. I have attached a photo. The amazon version is the upper one. Perhaps it was stored badly? I believe the more brown version from Amazon has oxidized in some way and probably won't be as effective.
