It is an excellent set, if you know the secret!
I always start at a 5 star rating, then I deduct a star for each critical item. All in all this set is a great deal! However these three items cost a star each:
1. No weight marking(Cost One Star) - A mark of a good flatware set is the weight number. This number tells you the amount of stainless steel to iron ratio. The larger the number the better the flatware. But it will cost you, so if it is not in your budget this set is a good choice. However, just so you know there is no weight number which more or less means that the stainless steel to iron ratio is very low. So more iron that stainless steel.
2. Flatware set has built in false economy(Cost Two Stars). What does this mean? Well the set is actually nice when it comes to the actual heaviness of the utensils. The table spoons actually do hold more liquid than the average inexpensive sets. I see ratings that speak negatively about this very thing. A Tablespoon is NOT a Soup Spoon. If you want soup spoons then you have to purchase a set that actually has soup spoons. I did not find any sharp edges on the spoons, they were all tapered nicely and smooth. The negative reviews on this must be about another product.
Now, lets dig into the false economy of the product. What they do not tell you, and this is the same with all flatware is that the flatware comes with a clear coating that in about a year will wear off, thus exposing the stainless steel to oxidation, citrus dishwasher detergents, or even hand wash citrus detergents more-so than detergents w/out citrus content. Once this protection varnish of sorts wears off due to soaking, eating, and washing the flatware is now at a state were it will begin to rust. After about a year and a half you will be looking for a new flatware set.
However, let me tell you a secret that will counter this false economy. After a few months of use, start using stainless steel cleaner and polish. I use "Wow!" which you can get on amazon here:

Use this cleaner every month or so. Place all your flatware in a tub of sorts, spray the cleaner and polisher equally on all the flatware then use a soft cloth to actually work the solution into the flatware. Once you have done this to all the flatware, then fill up your sink with Palmolive dish soap with luke warm water and gently wash the flatware, then of course rinse it, and you are done. Quick, easy and it will allow the flatware to last years to come. As you are making sure that the stainless steel flatware keeps a protective coating. Plus the cleaner removes natural and artificial chemicals that gets left on during a washing cycle from food and detergent. Then seals it with a protectant.
Summary: Overall this is a good set to invest in for the price. As long as you follow the suggestion of item 2 above you should be good to go for years to come.
