Not effective for rats
I have rats living under my kitchen cabinets and I used this copper mesh with expanding foam to block the holes they made at the bottom of the cabinets. They chewed through the copper mesh and foam on three different occasions. These rats must be the "Rattus Chuck Norrius" species.
