Adverse Effects
I love Magnesium, I've been taking it for years. I started out with Natural Calm which sometimes hurt my stomach, so I switched to Magnesium Glycinate which worked amazingly (for me) for relaxation and sleep.
I was excited to try Magnesium L-Threonate after reading about its ability to cross the blood-brain barrier and support cognitive function and memory.
When I try a supplement out for the first time, I always use less than the recommended dose "just in case".
I took 2 MagMind pills before bed and 30 minutes later as I was falling asleep, my mind started RACING. I became very anxious and agitated.
Thankfully that feeling passed, but it was extremely unpleasant.
The next day I had a headache all day, along with blurry vision. I am not someone who is prone to headaches. (Unless I've had too much wine.)
I tried the MagMind one more time, dropping down to 1 pill before bed. Same result, slightly less dramatic.
Unfortunately, this form of Magnesium does not agree with me and I will not be able to keep using it.
