It was easy to install, however, the strap that wraps around the seat and stabilizes the seat did not fit around my CRV seat. I could only attach one of the two booster seats in my vehicle. Once I had one installed, I placed my 9 lb. dog in it with her harness on and attached her to the security strap. She jumped out of the seat without much lead and was hanging over the side of the booster seat. The D-ring on my 2nd dog's (16 lbs.) harness was too thick to hook on to the security strap. Returned both seats.
