If paint protection is what you're looking for, this is not for you. Yes, it will make your paint slippery, and it will even make it shine, but it does not protect. Water even beads for a couple days, but this stuff does not last! I have a brand new Cadillac, less than 2 months old. I have used this on it twice, applied it exactly as directed. The car looked great, but bird poop has left what appears to be a permanent mark in my paint. Even clear-safe rubbing compound wouldn't get it out. I'm not happy. It should have just easily washed away with a quality wax, but after much scrubbing and elbow grease, it is still there!
