+1 - Item arrived on time, and not damaged - Amazon took it back with no issues -1 - Item arrived in it's original box, which meant that everyone could see exactly what it was I ordered while it set on my front porch all day. I also got a bit of a hard time from FedEx when I went to return as it was not "in a box". After explaining that's how I received it, they finally took it. -1 - Cost vs Capability - I would pay $500 for this, but not $1,000+ (was $1,500 brand new at retail stores, got it cheaper on here) -1 - Subwoofer randomly disconnects, subwoofer also loses connection to soundbar causing you to have to power it off and back on -1 - Sound is NOT that great for the cost. I've had $300 systems sound better than this sound bar, but adding the subwoofer definitely helps this sound bar Thoughts: The bottom line is that this is way overpriced for what it delivers. Coupled with the random subwoofer disconnects is what caused me to return it, but if it would have been $400-$500 I might've actually kept it and tried to find a way to work around the sub disconnects. I updated the firmware on everything, changed a bunch of settings, sometimes it seemed like it would help, but ultimately I would go down to watch TV, turn everything on, and the sub would never wake up - sometimes it would though which is what was confusing. To add to it, the sound from the bar itself is nothing to write home about. I have 8 foot ceilings, calibrated it for everything, and the "reflection" ability was just not impressive, and without the sub this bar is just lame. I also had issues with the ARC connection. Randomly I couldn't get off the home page of the soundbar, despite the fact that I had a device powered on and ready to go. I would select the right input, it would change over to my device, I would see it briefly, and then it would go back to the soundbar home menu. I tried a couple of different HDMI cables including different brands (thought I have all 4K HDMI cables in my setup). I also tested this on other TVs I have that have ARC connections and experienced the same result. Conclusion: This sound bar sub setup is not ready for prime time, and it is definitely NOT worth this shoppers money. Reduce the cost by 1/2, fix the issues, and try again Sony.
