Beware - reviews can be misleading
My wife bought this based on the reviews at the time (21 4 or 5 star reviews). When we received the product the packaging and construction indicated the bottom of the barrel off-brand junk you'd find at Ross or from Meritline (2 places I have purchased a lot of junk from). There's a place in the economy for these types of products, and luckily my wife bought this for $12.50, so it's no big deal. The performance lived up to the packaging - I tried the fine/medium/coarse settings into an empty plate and all looked the same. It was also pretty slow; didn't seem to grind very quickly for something that takes 6 batteries.
Now the above is what makes it a 2-star product, why I gave it a 1-star review is the highly suspect marketing practice. As I mentioned, the product had 21 reviews at the time. When looking at those reviews:
10 of them were from users that had only reviewed this product or this and just 1 other product
9 had reviewed from 1-18(!) other Ozeri products
2 looked legit though one of those only had 4 and 5 star reviews
My wife and I buy nearly everything from Amazon and depend greatly on these reviews so anything that undermines their reliability is a huge risk to Amazon and I hope they look into Ozeri products.
