I bought 3 pairs of Hesh 2 Bluetooth Wireless Headphones based on the reviews here. (I appreciate all of you that do review, seriously.) My family opened these gifts and we found out that one was looking defected. THE CHARGING PORT IS ON THE TOP AND NOT ON THE BOTTOM LIKE THE OTHER TWO. Also, it did not sound as good as the other two. Now I got one sad kid and I am disappointed. I called Skullcandy direct (888)6975855. Conversation: Skullcandy: "Josh" informed me that this was not a defect but instead an older version of the same product. Me: I was like not cool but I would like the newer version could you please replace? Skullcandy: "LOL no, take it back to where you bought them." Me: I was like "hey... what if they replace it with the old version with the inferior sound quality?" That's no Bueno. Skullcandy: "LOL — Let me place you on hold and find out if we can identify new versions with markings on the packaging. ON HOLD 7min. Skullcandy: LoL, the old and new version have the SAME packaging and we cannot tell which is older (inferior). Me: Again, take this back to replace and send me the newer version, please. Skullcandy: LoL, Can't. Against our policy. Me: ...What? Transfer me to your supervisor. Skullcandy: LoL, okay. ON HOLD again, 9 min. Skullcandy: LoL, our supervisor will call you back in 12-24 hours. Me: You're giving me the runaround. What is your full name? Skullcandy: "Josh, I am the only Josh here so I don't have to give you my last name." Me: ugh...? You are not giving me your full name or employee number? Skullcandy: LoL... no? sir? Me: ....WTF, goodbye. TLDR: The better sounded version was with the charging jack on the bottom. as opposed to the older version (inferior)with the charging jack on the top. Skullcandy will not help you get the newer version even though THE PACKAGING IS THE IDENTICAL AND you cannot tell until you open the box.
