Why do they do that?
So you see E1, it looks great. Then 3 min. into E2, the writers take a cheap route with the script. If you suspect something isn't right about the circumstances of a death, and you have an even more suspicious voicemail from the deceased, why would anyone give up that cell phone to a foreign country's police? This is what's wrong with too many of the series today. They have a good premise, then they write trite and stupid things into the script. We'll try to get beyond this cheap move by the writers/director, but this really is a turn off when this soon into the series they pull a high school stunt like this.
