I am giving this item one star because I have wasted a few dollars. I wanted lithium ion AA and AAA batteries, not NiMH. A nickel metal hydride battery, abbreviated NiMH or Ni–MH, is an older type of rechargeable battery. They generate 1.2 volts instead of the 1.5 volts of the non-chargeable alkalines. Lithium ion batteries are 3.7 volts normally, but the lithium ion batteries elsewhere on Amazon are 1.5 volts because they have a regulator that steps down the voltage. You will note too, that some of the chargers are made for NiMH batteries and others are made for lithium ion. They are not going to properly charge the other type of battery. Therefore, choose which one you want. The NiMH batteries have a memory and will have to be drained completely each time you use them. On sensitive devices, they will give a low voltage warning because they start out at 1.2 volts instead of 1.5. However, the lithium ion batteries will cost more. You will note that most of the ads are very weak on telling you which type you are buying, so pay close attention to the fine print or you will waste money like I did.
