★☆☆☆☆
Friend of mine was gifted this book.
Not only does this book imply an inevitable end to the modern world, but they do so at the expense of all who utilize technology. I find it incredibly ironic that this book is being sold on amazon at all. I do commend them for getting this book "self-published" as I can see no other way this book would exist.
Moving on, in the first chapter of this book we are told of the "heroic pioneers" who "braved the wildlife, germs, and Natives" so they essentially start you off with the glorification of genocide. What a start but wait there's more!
They then essentially walk you through boy scouts’ lessons 1-20 before offering basic recipes.
I would apologize for any insinuated insults but I want to steer as many people away from this overpriced book that offers the same information you could find in literally any other survival book, and those are offered without ignorance, xenophobia, and glorification of the “old days.”
TLDR: this book is problematic at best and offers not much more than the vilification of technology and modern society.
