This machine is a piece of junk. I own every other Silhouette machine and baring a few minor issues they are great. The ALTA arrived, and it has never worked. For about 6 weeks, I have been in the silhouette chat and on the phone with them. The last thing they did was to send me a new print head. Nor I have a $300.00 Alta with parts all over the place. Swing Design's refund police is a full refund on any box that has not been opened. other wise they start deducting $$ . There is no was for me to return it. Silhouette said I have to replace the print head so they can tell if it is defective or not. I am VERY DISSAPOINTED with this machine. I would advise anyone interested, to waite until it has been out for a year or more so they can work out the bugs. Not worth the money and NOT through Sing Design. (How do you know if it is broken if you don't open the box?).
