I bought this after seeing that it "Complies with California's AB1953 and Vermont Act 193 Low Lead Laws". I thought, great its safe for my family's drinking water, I will buy it. Guess what? It complies because it tells you on the back of the packaging it contains lead, rather than hiding it. See the photo I took. I returned it. For $5 more, you can get a lead free one and not have to worry about poisoning yourself and family. "This product contains chemicals, including lead, know to the State of California to cause cancer, and birth defects or other reproductive harm, Wash hands after handling."
