Did the producers even read any of the books? The answer is NO. Obviously not. This is not even close to the books. Absolutely butchered the story until it is almost unrecognizable from the books. When one of the Two Rivers boys says "She would piss in your mouth and tell you it's raining" I was very disappointed. Robert Jordan would never have written anything so uncouth. I personally can handle any harsh language. It is just sad that the writers of this trash are saying this is "based on" the Wheel of Time. Nope. Nowhere close. The producers have tried, and failed miserably, to put their own new story line based so very loosely on a well written series of books. So many changes to the story that I can barely recognize the plot line. Ruined a great story. Truly sad that they had amazing material to work with, and slaughtered The Wheel of Time. Robert Jordan would be very disappointed, as am I. I have read all these books several times. I own all of them in hardcover. Deeply saddened that the producers decided to stray so far off course. Shameful to waste such a big budget with such terribly rewritten bad ideas of what the story was and should be. Sad. Could have been a great and epic TV series, now its just a sad excuse to waste a big budget. Did these guys learn nothing from season 8 Game of Thrones???? How to ruin a great franchise.... in season ONE!
