Let me start by saying this is a great concept for an air conditioning. We love the quiet feature and the amount of cold air that comes out of this unit. The Bad... they don’t advertise on any of amazon ads or website that if you live in a humid area ( majority of the reason you need an air conditioner) you will have to drain the water from the front of your ac or it will automatically shut off due to a sensor built in until it is drained. I understand that with this not being a traditional window unit the water that is built up from condenser on the front of ac would drain outside but since this is a saddle style the water can’t drain outside. See video ... you would think they would of made something to fix this problem because when I first had installed I was draining plug ever few minutes, and now I gave up and just put a drain bucket below unit. Only other fix is drilling a whole in the wall and running a hose to drain it outside. Which is not feasible in a rental. Very disappointed with this , listening to what sounds like someone peeing every 10 minutes when trying to sleep since I have drain open all the time. Other wise I would get maybe an hour before I have to drain.
