Not memory foam and gimmicky blue is no substitute for the real deal
Yet another time I trust Amazon reviews and hordes of misinformed product fans, and probably a ton of fake reviews, mislead me.
This is absolutely NOT memory foam. It is a dense thick foam, but it has ZERO memory. You press your hand into it and it leaves no print. How they dare call it memory foam is simply that they are being dishonest. It's cheap. And the blue tint? Just coloring. There's no gel here. The thing insulates so much body heat, that I found myself burning up and sweating bullets the first night.
The one benefit is that it is thick. So if you need more support over your mattress, it will make an improvement for you. But it will also heat you up. And if you were expecting the MEMORY foam to actually have memory, then this product is a a straight out lie. Also Gel... let's talk about physics for a bit. adding gel or blue coloring into the foam slurry that made this product is not going to include the heat conductive properties that makes gel effective. You have to have solid masses of gel to have it work. That's why the premium mattress companies throw a thick layer of gel on top of their mattresses. So the gel in this product is nothing more than coloring (and possibly what is causing the foam to not have memory).
I'd return this thing, but not sure how I can ship it back since it's like 4x the size of the box it shipped in. Anyways, avoid this product if you want real memory foam and real gel. Otherwise you get NONE of those.
Added a photo taken a split second after lifting my deeply pressed hand off. Don't see a memory imprint? That's because this foam is definitely not memory foam.
