I had one of these a couple of years ago. It broke after just a couple of cycles. I ordered a new one hoping they had strengthened the newer units. This new unit broke during an attempt to open a standard mason jar. The plastic geared mechanism needs to be metal. The motor is strong enough but the internal plastic mechanism is not. The motor tears the geared arms apart. The return was very easy and the refund was immediate. I would love to have one of these but it needs to be built with a more durable material.
