★☆☆☆☆
Poorly constructed, very small lifespan
When I bought these headphones I did so because I was overwhelmed by reviews out there comparing them very positively to Bose QCs. I wish I'd paid closer attention to lower rating reviews (which I later found were numerous and pretty consistent). The noise cancelling was good while it lasted. Sound quality is actually poor if ANC is turned off, but once you turn it on, sound becomes both louder and more detailed. After less than one year of use, I began to notice a noise when I touched the ANC switch. This noise started to appear even when the switch was not touched, leading me to try to touch it, change its position a bit, so that it stopped. As time went by, this problem grew worse and worse (this progresse during a few months). Add to that the problem with the ear cups: the leather started to tear, letting loose the foam inside and rendering the phones unusable. This happened to both cups. Even if I insisted in using it (trying to push the foam to the corner of the cup so that my ear could fit in), the false contact in the ANC switch was now unbearable: sound was muffled, only one side played music, and I was constantly hearing interference. Even with ANC switched off. Now, with 1.5 years of use, the phones are complete garbage, and I am replacing them.
