I hate leaving a negative review on amazon, and will usually only do so when something affects the safe use of the device. My light came and I wired it up to make sure it worked, and it did. I was pretty impressed with how bright it was. But then I heard a clunking noise. I first took off the cover, and noticed all the finger prints on the reflector. Really? They couldn't wipe those off with a rag before closing it? That right there showed me a total lack of pride and quality control in manufacturing. Then I took out the reflector and found the problem. There is a metal bar that holds in the electronics. It was loose, and both screws were completely out. I tried to put them back in, but they were too short. How can the screws be too short? I guess that's why the factory didn't bother screwing them in. That doesn't even make any sense! I ended up using zip ties to secure everything. If I hadn't noticed this issue, I can only imagine this light sitting 20 feet up, getting blown back and forth in the wind, all the electronics bouncing around and causing a short. Maybe mine was a fluke, and they fixed the problem in later models, but please, if you've bought this already, open it up and make sure that everything is secure, especially if this is attached to your house and could cause a fire!
