Disappointed and scared
I bought this because my son loves trains and cars. I bought it based on the cover and one of the pictures someone posted. However, check out my photos because:
1. Why are all of the characters so scared and creeped out?
2. A two year old is NOT going to make the connection because the two year old doesn’t understand metaphors
3. It doesn’t really look like a potty. In one picture it does, but not really.
4. The part where the kid goes potty then it goes down the pipe AGAIN is scary!
UPDATE:
My son found this and wabtedme ti read it. We got through two pages before he looked MORTIFIED and seriously hates this he doesn’t even want to look at it. So my predictions were correct... and he isn’t scared of any of the other million potty books we’ve read
I haven’t read this to my son yet. Kids are SOOOO good with facial expressions and I just don’t think this will send the right message. I bought it so, whatever 🙄 I’m too lazy to return it, BUT I don’t think I’m going to use this to get my son more interested in going potty.
