I was in the market for a vanity refrigerator from my skin care products as a birthday present to myself...and I ran across this one on Amazon with good reviews so I purchased it hoping it will keep my skin care cold and did not think that I would have issues with this refrigerator. So a little over a month I started noticing there was water dripping on my vanity and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from other than the refrigerator. I pulled out all my skin care products from the refrigerator and notice that there was I accumulation of water on and ice inside. Luckily for me I had plastic cover over my vanities that there was no water damage. I purchased this in September and as of October I've notice ice collecting, Since it was over the 30 day for returns I kept it and every 2 weeks I have to make sure to defrost and take off the ice from the rear 4 screws of the mini refrigerator. This has become more of a hassle then keeping my skin care cold. I totally wanted to give this refrigerator the benefit of the doubt and keep it for a few months thinking it was my skin care products with metal caps recreating the ice so I removed my products with metal, yet the problem still persisted. I couldn't figure out why my products with metal caps would cause any ice build-up inside if this refrigerator it is advertised with soda cans aluminum also metal. There is no adjustable temperature knob so you cannot adjust its only a hot or cold switch, which if it had adjust well knob I would be able to turn it down probably to prevent freezing and ice built up. so I was a little frustrated and over this refrigerator when to add on top of that it started creating noises and smell like rubber burning as well, so at this point my husband told me I had to disconnect this refrigerator because he was afraid a fire might occur while we weren't home so now I just use it for storage. I'm a little upset and frustrated and this was not what I anticipated it to be. I do not recommend this refrigerator for skin care products since my experience was solely on skin care products. I have not used it for other items especially now since I am banned from using this the house with electricity.
