I have been taking this benfotiamine with Thiamin for around 3 years and they've made two changes since then. The first change was they removed the active form of thiamine which was listed in the old formula as thiamine cocarboxylase. The original one with the active form, healed my b1 deficiency the best. I could feel my nerves healing. The second formula I could feel a reduction in healing, but still worked somewhat at maintaining b1 levels. The third formula which they did not even update in their picture, is the worst one for me. They have removed the active form of thiamine and added such fillers as rice bran extract, vegetable glaze and sunflower oil. I cannot tolerate this one at all it seems to give me diarrhea. Another thing to note is that rice bran extract is usually contaminated with inorganic arsenic. I don't know why they would change their original formula which was working great for me.
