You get what you pay for. Pump is out of commission after less than two months and the company that makes the pump, Tetra, does not sell the XS pump individually. They only sell it to makers of aquarium kits like this one. All other pumps I have come across do not fit over the cover. Cheap garbage like this product is actually MORE expensive than just paying more up front for quality.....because it just does not last. I should have known better. Update August 24, 2018: The product is what it is, but this company has EXCELLENT customer service. I asked them to SELL me a new pump, per the above, and they sent me one immediately. For free. This is a company that values its customers.
