The scale itself is made of gravity-defying magic. I found my food I was weighing either continued to magically gain or lose weight while it was on the scale no matter how long it sat there. A can of pasta slowly increased in mass until it was weighed over 4 lbs. Can you imagine buying a small can of pasta and more than tripling the nutritional mass? Amazing. My beef jerky slowly lowered to zero ounces before my eyes! No calories for this tasty snack any more! I did find if you used the bowl the scale comes with with the food instead of putting just the food right on the scale directly, this phenomenon was less severe. I decided I was unworthy of such gravity-defying power and returned the product and spent six bucks more on the next most expensive scale. The new one shows the same boring weight no matter how long anything sits on it. Oh well. Dare to dream, friends!
