WARNING: Flawed design with Keurig® K-Supreme Multi-stream
The design, at least specific to the Keurig® K-Supreme Multi-stream, is critically flawed and will not work brew properly with the Keurig® K-Supreme Multi-stream brewer. Upon brewing, the water cannot flow through the filter as fast as it comes out of the multi-stream resulting in the water overflowing, running down the sides of the filter, and straight in to your coffee mug. This isn't a little bit of coffee or some drips. This is, approximately 5 seconds after the coffee stream starts filling the mug, a steady stream of water continuously flowing in to the mug simultaneously with the brewed coffee. The resulting "beverage" ends up being 2/3 brewed coffee and 1/3 water. No matter what you do, even walking through things with a customer support agent (yes, I did that) the results are always the same. Things customer support suggested and tried: - Unit is defective. Returned for new one which functions identically poorly. Same watery result. - Grounds too fine. Ground fresh beans to very coarse. Same watery result. - Grounds too course. Ground fresh beans to fine. Same watery results. - Grounds need to grounded "medium". Ground fresh beans to medium. Same watery results. - Overfilling grounds. Filled less than half way to the "Full" line. Same watery results. - Grounds need to be filled exactly to the "Full line". Very carefully filled grounds to the "Full" line. Same watery results. - Product not inserted correctly. Re-watched Keurig's YouTube video while on phone with support. Confirmed it is being inserted correctly. Same watery results. - Red rubber sealer wasn't pressed closed. Pressed firmly closed. Same watery results. - Red rubber seal shouldn't be "closed". Popped all four seals loose. Same watery. - Top needs to be twisted on. Applied careful and forceful twisting action to the secure top. Same watery results. - Top not put on tight enough. Applied with the force of a thousand raging customers. Same water results. Keurig has a defective product in combination Keurig® K-Supreme Multi-stream. How this got past engineering or, heck, anyone at Keurig brewing a cup of coffee with it on that machine is so far beyond me I simply find it unfathomable. Do better Keurig. Much better. This is atrocious.
