I liked this so well I bought 2. They worked well. At the end of the season, because we have moderately cold winters in Rhode island, I brought them in, removed the batteries, cleaned them up and stored them in the basement on my workbench (room temperature). Both broke at the piece of plastic that connects the unit to the outside faucet when I hooked them up next the following year. Maybe 1 year is the life expectancy now. Nice design design--poor construction. Orbit must hope noone ever reads these 1-star reviews
