I have purchased three of these. First two for my son and myself. Both had issues charging after several months. Bought another for myself hoping for different results as I liked the shape and ease of use so much, but after several months, same thing. Took apart the first one and found that it is the way the charging receptacle on the trimmer is connected to the PCB (electronics board) inside the trimmer. Every time you plug it in to charge, the force pulls the receptacle pins away from the PCB eventually causing it to fail. Now, I'm very gentle on electronics, and knowing what happened to the first one, I was very careful with the second one I had, but same results. Other than this, the trimmer seems to be well built and has a great feel in the hand. The first one I bought came with better steel trimming heads and an adjustable grooming head that went from a 1 to a 9 that worked great. The second two I purchased did not have these, but cheaper attachments. Due to charging issue, would not recommend this product. My son purchased the cheaper Wahl 9867-300, and has not had this issue.
