The fan looks well build and I was hoping for many years of service. I used the fan maybe 6-7 times and it died. No smoke... just stopped working. IDK why. I have emailed the manufacturer and I hope I can get a replacement out of them. I hate to say it but that cheap a$$ plastic box fan may still be the best bet. Update; I contacted the manufacturer to get the fan RMAd. They wanted me to disassemble the fan and just send the parts that were broken. Major pain in the ass. I don't know how they expect the average person to do this. Ok so I took the shroud and blades off the motor assembly. I mailed the motor and controller in two months ago, AND NOTHING HAS COME BACK. So not only did I buy a piece of s*** fan, now I have invested money in return shipping and have nothing but a pile of parts to show for it. Terrible experience, terrible quality, terrible company. Don't buy it!!
