This barely/nearly covers my edges when my hair is stretched. I can't imagine doing more than covering half if it was curly. Though higher quality than my current cap it's too small Update- My rating went from 3 to 1. It is less than a year later and all the elastic is gone. I have to safety pin it to use it. My last cap lasted years. Would not buy again
