We breed goldens. Our vet recommended these - they are no longer our vet! They seemed great at the beginning, but soon noticed our adults throwing up a lot. We used these for giving them their rather tasteless vitamin pills (high quality and tested vitamins - so it wasn't the vitamins). These quickly become stale and the packages soon loose half of the seal (like a zip-lock), increasing them drying out. Stupid us - we finally looked them up online for other complaints - hundreds on consumer affairs site(s), and others. Even greenies own site reviews have many, many 1 star reviews. Apparently greenies is owned by Mars, which owns Nutro, and Nutro owns greenies. Do any of you remember Nutro's recall of ALL their dog foods a few years ago? H'mmmm. Let's forget the stuff above though (hard to!). The price of these little "healthy treats". Purchased two (2) 60 packs of the capsule chicken pill pockets in April 2017 for $7.97 and $9.74. In August they had a "special" for subscribe and save for 20% off the now roughly $11.50 price (in August). As of September 15, 2017 they are $16.99 ... MORE than DOUBLE of just a few months ago. BUT, the main reason to stay clear of ALL of Greenies products are the MANY, MANY, MANY negative reviews and apparent causation of sickness of animals that are given these. Buyer beware.
