Fire hazard. Had my electrician install 6 of these within 4 months one started making noise then smelled terrible. I shut of power and pulled it out and discovered it was burnt and melted. Also partially melted the electric box in the wall. If I wasn't home to catch this I would be living in a hotel. Also my wife and kids were upstairs and never smelt of suspected anything. Very dangerous. Made in mexico not usa. Also never held temp well when it did work. About 2 of the 6 installed seem to hold an ok temperature level. Replacing all 6 with a different brand. Honeywell also had past recalls of the switch sticking causing the thermostat to over heat. Maybe they should include this one. Money in the garbage thanks honeywell for wasting my time, money, and placing my family and the rest of our townhouse community danger. Great!
