I read the reviews for this and it sounded like the biggest problem was that the number of items in the kit was misleading. I bought two, one for each car. Then my battery died and I tried to jumpstart the car. THE CABLES MELTED, and in the process damaged my car. I bought these because they were advertised as AAA approved. I will be contacting both AAA and Amazon about reparation for what turned out to be a very bad - and expensive! - buy.
