i live in the mountains and there are bears here, this may work on some scaring them away ,but i just had to use this last night after having a bear walk up on us sitting in our screened porch , my dog barked at it that made it run to the front of the house we used the air horn thinking it would make it run being it was now only walking casually away,it turned and started walking towards us as if to check out what the sound was . im now looking for a more effective solution to keep them away ,any suggestions ?
