Got this box just under six months ago. It was the answer to our issues with Baby cat, he hates to use a dirty box and will go on the floor or anywhere else if his litter is dirty. This was so easy to clean twice a day, just move the lever, lock it back and done. Once a week empty the drawer and reline. Then I notices the kitties not using it and found the box was tilting like the handle wasn't locked. I took it apart and found the socket for the handle was cracked. I cut a circle of 3/4 inch birch plywood, sliced off the edges, and stuffed them in the gap to support the thin plastic. It is working for now but that plastic is very thin. I may get some epoxy and fill the gaps with that if it looks like the wood is not gong to hold up. I may get another box with four cats in the household but I will fill with the epoxy and let it cure before I even began to use it. This is an expensive box and should not have to be redesigned by the the consumer to get more than six months use. I will update if anything breaks after this fix.
