I was so pleased when I got these yesterday - they are super long and comfortable. They are supposed to be heat resistant up to 450 degrees and since I have used silicone gloves in the past, I thought I would be fine. Imagine my surprise (and horror) when I took a full cookie sheet out of the oven and nearly dropped it from the pan burning my fingers through these mitts. I think the heat rating is really far off the actual resistance level. Sending back.
