You Probably Should NOT Buy This Outdated Product...
The product itself is okay and reasonably priced. The corner glides are garbage, but they aren't the focus of this product (or review). And, good glides are readily available (example: Nail-on Drawer Glides). The part that mounts to the front of the furniture cabinent (brown with a semi-triangular shape) is fine - exactly what you need. The problem is with the part that mounts to the back of the drawer (brown rectangle). And, this critical part breaks easily and often (you might not even need the other two). The problem is that this part is at least two generations old. The square rectangle in this product is a copy of the Kenlin "Slide-Rite" track system. In my case, this slide system is on Stanley bedroom furniture that I bought for my son in 2000. So, we are talking about a design that is ~20 years old. The drawer mount piece is plastic - only. It broke easily and failed a lot. So, Kenlin stopped making it. Kenlin's "Rite-Trak I" system was the replacement. The parts are exactly the same, except the rectangular drawer piece is supported by a solid metal frame. In the attached photo, I show the assembly you mount to the drawer (right) and the empty metal frame (left) that is absent from the product. I bought the product in this review to replace the plastic piece IN the metal frames. I was able to pop out the old, broken piece and insert the new piece from the kit into the frame. Easily done. The reason that I had (or even knew about) the upgraded pieces is that Stanley sent them to me (~2003) when complained about the junk drawer slides in the furniture. Obviously, they broke again. Probably years ago. But, my son wasn't worried about furniture problems in his teens. So, this product worked great for me. In my specific situation, I probably should have given the product a 5-star review. But, I knew EXACTLY what I needed. I have three reasons for giving this a 1-star review. (1) The product, as sold, is an antiquated design that was discontinued for quality and reliability reasons ~15 years ago. (2) There is nothing in the product description (or instructions) indicating that this is an old, failed design and that there are much better options available. And, (3) I want as many people as possible to know this! If you don't have the "Rite-Trak I" hardware (with the metal bracket), DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! But, don't go buying the rectangular metal drawer mount (Rite-Track I Drawer Guide With Metal Backing for Slide Style Drawers found in Dressers and other Furniture), either, because it has been replaced with the "Rite-Trak II" system (Kenlin Lot of 5 Sets of Improved Commercial Style Kenlin Rite-Trak II). The drawer bracket is now a beefy plastic OVAL (still with a metal bracket). There is a lot more plastic supporting the drawer glides that have broken off in previous iterations of the product line. I can't attest to how well it works (I learned about these AFTER I used this product). But, it is the current version of this product line, costs about the same as a complete Rite-Track I assembly, and it can't be worse. I hope this helps!
