I own 3 wyze cameras I love this company and will always keep buying their v2 and v3 cameras. There are two important features that the v2 Wyze has and that the Outdoor Wyze will not have and those are; There is no playback from the Camera's SD nor from the Base Station. The other feature is the ability to custom the area that you want to trigger when there is motion. These two are so important and are the ones that are not in this camera. I have read that people are having this issue since August and still no fix. We know that this is because of the battery so it can last longer. There are those of us that really don't mind the battery lasting us 1 month or less. I still cannot think how I can use this camera without seeing the playback. What is the purpose of the SD? To record time lapse?. Well this camera can be great but I don't think they will improve the firmware. We need to be able to see playback from the base and from the camera. If they can fix that this will be a fantastic camera. Also they say that the events will back up to the base station which is 12 seconds. That is a charm a base station backup with 12 second clips. So if you thought that you are backing up your camera SD to your base station you will be surprised. I know it makes no sense.
