Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I read a couple reviews before I bought that mentioned likely quality control issues. Most of the negative reviews complained that the mattress was too hard, which actually encouraged me to buy it, as the husband and I like a very firm mattress. But I'm guessing we got one of the few I've seen that people talk about feeling like you're "laying in mud." This thing is so soft and sinks so badly, that when I lay on my back, it feels like I'm sitting in a chair, my butt sinks so low. I wake up in the middle of the night sunk into the mattress so much that I can't roll any other way. And, if my husband and I lay close together, we both get sucked into the middle of the bed, which is exactly what we were trying to avoid by buying a memory foam mattress. This mattress is awful. I'm trying to figure out now how I'm supposed to get it in a package to send it back to Amazon and get my money back. We've slept on it for about 10 days and we have nothing but complaints. UPDATE 04/10/18 - Thank goodness for Amazon. There was no way this was getting back in a box to get shipped back, so I called them and the customer service rep was super helpful. They said Amazon doesn't take back mattresses but if I was unhappy with it, they suggested I donate or dispose of the mattress and they would refund me the $, which they did within 24 hrs of our conversation! This mattress sucks, but Amazon does not. So, there was a happy ending to our story, even if it didn't involve this mattress.
