there is not a reasonable explanation for the short-lived use of this backpack other than poor quality of materials and perhaps skimping on seam allowances
I purchased this sling backpack for the sole purpose of carrying passport, wallet and phone securely in crowded cities on a 21-day vacation. A week into the trip I noticed a two-inch tear of one of the seams. Despite the reinforcement of the seam, the fabric was torn at the seam line. As I carried only 3 items in the bag, in my opinion, there is not a reasonable explanation for the short-lived use of this backpack other than poor quality of materials and perhaps skimping on seam allowances.
