Let me start off by saying that this pump really moves some water. Using it to do water changes on my aquariums it does great. Now the cons. This is the second pump I have got, the first just died and would not work at all. The second pump after using it twice for a max of 20 to 30 minutes has started over heating and shutting off. I would choose another brand that is more reliable than take a chance on these faulty pumps. I know I will not buy another one of these or recommend them to anyone.
