This treat is too hard for my toy poodle and too big for her mouth. I broke it to pieces hoping she could nibble it..but still no. Accdg to description, small pieces can be microwave as puffy treats...yes it did puff up. I was trying to encourage my dog to taste it and i saw this “thing” sticking out. I tried to pull it out, but it is embedded inside...as you can see in the picture. Upon examination...i see it is a soft metal..like a stainless steel scrubbing pad. This is dangerous for dogs when ingested. If i did not break the treat and microwave it..i win’t even know it is there. I am going to break this puff and see how long it is. Just check the pictures. I wanted to break the puff ,since my dog don’t nibble on big treats. Luckily i saw this. I did not see or felt this when it was raw. I may have gotten a bad batch. Hopefully this was just an accident when they were making this treat. Just BEWARE DOG PARENTS.
