I was so disappointed in this book. The idea was good with the beginning almost like Cinderella at the ball only instead of dropping her shoe, she drops her cell phone. The execution of this plot was so sappy and sloppy that I could hardly finish the book. First the guy is a well known technician who created the security system on her phone but it takes him days to hack it? Then after talking for a few hours at a ball both of these thirty something super intelligent people are proclaiming their undying love for each other. This was all by 27% into the book. Now it is okay in Disney, but not for two people that are described as two of the biggest powerhouses in business. After their sappy declaration of love I thought ok what now when the author enters an element of mystery. Elle is being threatened by her ex with a hostile company takeover. Sounded good but once agin, it was not well executed. I don't know how you can mess up such a commonly used plot as a hostile takeover, but this author had it going in so many ways it was ridiculous. Add to that the one sex scene basically saying slide slot B into slot A and there was nothing redeeming in this book.
