Was happily flying this drone. And out of nowhere. The app got disconnected and thinking maybe the drone will return to home. It didn't The drone disconnected and out literally dropped from the sky. It was broken and shattered to pieces. It was very scary as I was taking photos of a busy intersection. I do not know what happened. But I can definitively say a glitch occurred. Because the controller got disconnected and the drone was supposed to go back to home. Instead it just flat out stopped and dropped dead from 100m up in the air Update: Apparently there is a flaw with the battery in the mavics. If you put your battery in even if the drone turns on the battery might get dislodged despite hearing a click. I assume that's what happened to my drone. If you get the new mavics make sure to secure the batteries. I don't know why it would even get dislodged like that but it will. Theres a video on YouTube showing exactly that
