I wanted to love but ended up returning it. I have used different forms of curcumin. All of them, no matter the form you can tell when it is working. I use for RA and eczema inflammation. I tried a liquid, with the black pepper extract for adsorption. It tasted like the Satan's Urine but it started working as soon as you took it. I just couldn't put up with the taste and started to try different brands. It doesn't matter what you take, as long as it can get absorbed. I had high hopes because uses Meriva. Sadly, even a triple dose, the curcumin did not work. No inflammation relief at all, no clearness or focus that usually is evident within an hour of taking curcumin. I have tried about 14 different brands and for me, this was the worst. I checked the expiration and the date was good. This was much lighter in appearance than almost all of the others that I tried. I ended up returning this because there simply was no effect at all. I use NOW brand curcumin because it uses longvida technology and passes through the blood-brain barrier. I can feel the focus about an hour after taking it. I also take Theracurcumin double strength by Natural Factors which can both be found on Amazon and both have subscribe and save. I can see the inflammation in my hands and feet literally improve within an hour of taking it. I take both daily, curcubrain for its anti-dementia properties and theracurcumin for inflammation. My dr says they are close to coming out to a nanoparticle version for better absorption. Bottom line is, unlike a vitamin, you should FEEL this working. The Thorne research brand did not provide any focus or inflammation relief at all. It was like taking nothing. Possibly I received a bad bottle but to me, the strength difference between this and curcubrain/theracurcumin is the difference between a newborn baby and the incredible hulk.
