What Insult did France produce to incur Such injury
Burgundy and the King of France must be outsourced to African sovereigns for the sake of making Shakespeare multicultural? Is England and France so devoid and lacking in their own culture that they must supplement it with cultures foreign to Shakespeare? It's bad enough when they attempt to put Shakespeare in modern settings. But to blunt and bludgeon it further with multiculturalism is a travesty that makes it beyond nonsensical. To call a man dressed like an African dictator the King of France, is patently absurd.
Hopkins is great at Shakespeare, but many of these other actors are not qualified.
