At first, this was a great solution. I purchased it about 5 months ago and was really happy with it. I mounted it to a clean, flat, smooth, non-porous surface (radio) and it held my phone securely. It was great while it lasted. Then, recently it started to pull away from the dashboard and finally fell off (kind of like a loose tooth). It seems that most of the positive reviews are based on initial experience (which, yes is 5-stars!). But, you'll notice there are more and more negative reviews from those who've had the mount for a while. It seems that over time the mount peels off. I'd suggest you look for something else as I'm doing right now and please respond if you've found one! Update November 6, 2017: After my initial review, the seller was very kind. They sent me a refund plus a few of their latest kits including 3M adhesive discs. I was really hoping it would work this time and I'd be able to change my review. Unfortunately, the same thing happened. After a few months, the mount started to loosen and it fell off again. I give the seller 5-stars for their effort but unless there's a better way to mount it, the product just doesn't work for me. I attached a few more photos so you can see what happened. :-(
