Just what I was looking for! I have a bay window in my house that I eventually want to outfit with plantation shutters. However, due to the expensive nature of plantation shutters, I needed to find some sort of window coverings for the mean time. I decided to try these out, and I love them! It's great that you don't have to drill any holes, you can trim them to the perfect width, and they let the perfect amount of light through while still providing privacy. The price is great, especially since these are temporary. They look a lot nicer than I expected, so I know I won't have a problem keeping these up for however long it takes until I get my plantation shutters. Update (6 months later): I tried to remove these shades because I have since purchased the plantation shutters for my windows. Removing these was an absolute NIGHTMARE!! I had to get a belt sander out to get the glue and residue off. I had to repaint my window frame too! And the wood is still messed up. I will NEVER use these again. They really should not be advertised as temporary. OR, there needs to be a huge disclaimer stating something to the effect of, "attach it to something easily removable that would then be attached to the window." Unless you want these to be permanent, I would NOT recommend these!
