My dog is a chewer and so I thought this would be a good treat for him. WRONG. He ate the whole bone (that was proportionate to his size recommendations) within 15 minutes. Within 2 hours he was throwing up violently. This continued for a day, a total of 6 times before I was able to get him in to see the vet. He also seemed to have trouble breathing. X ray came back normal but then the following 2 days he had excessive diarrhea, a bout every 2 hours and throughout the night, which was real thick and sticky in substance- due to the bone's substance and ingestion. Another visit to the vet, diarrhea medication helped. I am so glad this is the worst that happened to my pup in comparison to other reviews I read before I could see the vet and was frantically worried for his health. This product should be removed from the shelves, and if there was an inspection agency for pet products I'm sure it would have never made it there in the first place. While I do not deny that some dogs may not experience any negative health affects from the bone, please, I urge you not to take the risk. It is not worth it.
