I first bought this in August 2018, and while the product wasn’t necessarily to my liking, my friend whom I’d passed the primer onto found that it blurred her pores and prolonged the wear of her makeup throughout the day. The fragrance also didn’t bother her sensitive skin. HOWEVER, I repurchased this for her again in July of this year (2019), and it turned out to be a fake. The primer smelled a lot more like chemicals, and the texture was thinner and more greasy-feeling. The fake also absorbs pretty quickly as if you never applied the product to begin with. The packaging was different as well. This may be due to upgraded packaging, but this is just for those who want to check the product or even test swatch on their hand or neck before applying it to their face. My friend didn’t even have it on for more than 30 minutes, but after taking it off (because she noticed the difference in consistency and smell), any texture or acne she previously had worsened and reddened significantly. Some other more recent reviews also mentioned getting really bad acne, so I can’t imagine how worse it could get for my friend. Please just go to Sephora/Ulta and spend a couple more dollars on this product because saving a few dollars in a situation that could potentially ruin your skin isn’t worth it. The aforementioned retailers also allow for returns, but then again, they probably won’t be selling you non-refundable fake products :/.
